Henry Wollman Bloch Fountain - features 232 jets arranged in three concentric rings within an ellipse of black granite. The fountain was designed by WET Design, the designers of the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas.

Centennial Fountain Park was a downtown revitalization project in West Palm Beach, Florida, in response to the town’s mostly vacant storefronts in their downtown district. The City decided to incorporate a large interactive fountain to play on sight, sound, and motion to attract visitors to Centennial Plaza.

The New York Times featured the downtown renewal project in an article that described the fountain as the main draw or focal point of the success and a model for other development councils and municipalities. Used a bond to pay for the large, triangular fountain’s construction and created affordable housing nearby.

When it was finished, they used the taxes collected from the new businesses and housing to pay back the bond and invest in the surrounding area. The fountain is still a focal point, and a favorite town spot for concerts, markets, and events.
